East & Westbrook is proud of the company culture and the values that we’ve established over the decades, which have enabled us to positively build upon the framework our founders laid nearly 40 years ago. Needless to say, it was an honor to have these facets of our company spotlighted in the latest issue of On the Job, which featured an in-depth article summarizing our company’s history, its ethics, and the various types of equipment we use to do what we do.
The piece, titled Concrete Results: Lasting Construction Starts with a Solid Foundation, starts with a brief synopsis of our humble beginnings in 1977 before jumping to the present day. Our goals of safety, quality, and performance were also focal points, as well as the meticulous training our employees undergo to obtain these goals. This training includes various methods such as pre-screenings, safety meetings, pre-job hazard identification, and comprehensive programs such as OSHA 10-Hour Outreach Training. It’s a lot of work, and it’s a lot to learn, but when safety is one of your company’s defining characteristics, no precaution is too much.
On the Job also made sure to spotlight the various types of Cat® equipment our workers utilize on a daily basis to accomplish the challenges they meet. Fortunately, E&W has the convenience of renting this equipment for short- or long-term jobs from a variety of Cat Rental Stores across the country whenever it comes time for a new job. This is endlessly helpful when it comes to reducing overhead costs and increasing overall efficiency.
Thanks again to On the Job for taking the time to spotlight our company and interview our employees in such an exciting fashion. To read the entire piece, pick up the latest issue of On the Job, available now!
